Welcome

The Holy Family is the Roman Catholic Parish Church for the community of Reigate in the UK Diocese of Arundel and Brighton.

The Holy Family community is both active and welcoming, offering spiritual and pastoral support for all members. We are glad that you have chosen to "come and see" (John 1:39) and we welcome you to our Parish website.

Fr Dominic writes ..........

By the time you read these words I shall have gone to be Assistant Priest in Bognor Regis. Leaving (and being left is not easy). It would have been good to get to know you better. It would have been good to help the development of one parish with three Churches and three Priests.

We live at a time of change and loss that can leave us feeling bewildered and upset. However, over time, I hope the dust will settle and that you will begin to notice new things that were not there before. I encourage you to go to Mass at different times and in different places in order to experience the variety in your Parish.

I have learnt a lot in my 2 years here I shall always be grateful to you for being kind to me in my 1st year of Priesthood. Please remember me occasionally in your Prayers and continue to pray for our Seminarians. May God bless each of you.

School Application Forms

For parents who are applying to St Joseph’s please note they should return the form to the school and not ask the Priest to complete it.  With reference to paragraph 5 of the Admissions Policy and Criteria, set out below, which clearly sets out the procedure.  Parents fill out their part of the form, return it to the school by the stipulated date and the school will forward it to the relevant priest.

Extract from the Admissions Policy and Criteria

“5. All applicants MUST complete a St Joseph’s Application Form and a Church Support Form. (see Appendices B and C (1) and (2)). These Forms can be obtained from the school. In respect of each completed St Joseph’s Application Form received by the school a Church Support Form is sent to the applicant for completion and then return to St Joseph’s by the deadline stipulated in the Church Support Form. St Joseph’s will then submit the Church Support Form to the Applicants’ Priest/ Minister for completion prior to the allocation of any school places. The purpose of the Church Support Form is to establish whether the Application has the Written Support of the relevant Parish Priest/Minister and to obtain information on Mass attendance required for the purposes of the operation of the Admissions Criteria.”
